Description

A delicious and nutritious breakfast option combining the warmth of cinnamon and the sweetness of apples, packed with protein and fiber.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cottage cheese
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 large apple, peeled and finely diced
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats or almond flour
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup or honey
  • 1 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp baking powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9-inch baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the cottage cheese, eggs, maple syrup, and vanilla until well mixed.
  3. Stir in the rolled oats (or almond flour), ground cinnamon, and baking powder.
  4. Carefully fold in the diced apples until evenly distributed.
  5. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread it out evenly.
  6. Bake for 35-40 minutes until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  7. Allow it to cool slightly before slicing and serving.
