Description

A simple and quick dish featuring juicy chicken and creamy buttered noodles, perfect for busy weeknights or lazy weekends.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 8 ounces egg noodles
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Season the chicken with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Cook for 6-7 minutes on each side until cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add 2 tablespoons of butter and minced garlic. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Add chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Stir in egg noodles and cook until tender, according to package instructions.
  4. Slice the cooked chicken and return it to the skillet. Mix with the noodles and adjust seasoning if needed.
  5. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

For tender chicken, don’t overcook it. Adjust the seasoning at the end for the best flavor.
