Description

Delicious and hearty Ground Beef Philly Cheesesteaks, perfect for busy weeknights or casual get-togethers.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 2 hoagie rolls
  • 2 slices of provolone cheese or cheese of choice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add sliced onions and cook until softened and light golden.
  3. Toss in ground beef, breaking it apart, and season with salt and pepper. Cook until browned.
  4. Place provolone cheese on top of the beef and cover to melt.
  5. Toast hoagie rolls in the oven or a skillet.
  6. Stuff each roll with beef and onion mix and serve warm.

Notes

For the best texture, cook onions slowly to caramelize. Use high-quality cheese for extra flavor.
