- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 2 hoagie rolls
- 2 slices of provolone cheese or cheese of choice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for cooking
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add sliced onions and cook until softened and light golden.
- Toss in ground beef, breaking it apart, and season with salt and pepper. Cook until browned.
- Place provolone cheese on top of the beef and cover to melt.
- Toast hoagie rolls in the oven or a skillet.
- Stuff each roll with beef and onion mix and serve warm.
Notes
