Description

A cheesy, crispy chicken dish that brings the flavor of Longhorn Steakhouse to your kitchen, perfect for weeknight dinners and special occasions.


Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts, boneless skinless
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F.
  2. In one bowl, mix the breadcrumbs, half of the Parmesan, and seasonings.
  3. In another bowl, beat the eggs and milk together.
  4. Keep flour ready in a third bowl.
  5. Coat each chicken breast in flour, dip in the egg mixture, and cover with the breadcrumb mix.
  6. Heat olive oil in a pan and cook the chicken for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  7. Transfer the chicken to a baking dish.
  8. Mix the remaining Parmesan, mozzarella, and minced garlic in a small bowl and sprinkle on top of the chicken.
  9. Bake for 20-25 minutes until the chicken is cooked through.

Notes

For the best texture, avoid overcrowding the pan when frying. You can also use different cheeses or add spinach for variety.
