- 4 chicken breasts, boneless skinless
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F.
- In one bowl, mix the breadcrumbs, half of the Parmesan, and seasonings.
- In another bowl, beat the eggs and milk together.
- Keep flour ready in a third bowl.
- Coat each chicken breast in flour, dip in the egg mixture, and cover with the breadcrumb mix.
- Heat olive oil in a pan and cook the chicken for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Transfer the chicken to a baking dish.
- Mix the remaining Parmesan, mozzarella, and minced garlic in a small bowl and sprinkle on top of the chicken.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until the chicken is cooked through.
Notes
For the best texture, avoid overcrowding the pan when frying. You can also use different cheeses or add spinach for variety.
